Big name grab for the Warriors--that should certainly help quiet any frustration over the decision to dump Archibald. It'll be a new sort of challenge for Aus, going from a perennial suburban contender to a team from a town that's been hovering in the 8AA picture for a while, but has yet to break through.
It also opens up a big opportunity in Blaine for someone to step in, and after some playoff frustrations in recent years, a little fresh blood might not be a bad thing.
I think both teams are losing a lot of seniors from this past year, so we probably shouldn't judge on just one year, but it'll be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Could be that their are better fishing spots on Gull Lake Vs Ham Lake?Sats81 wrote:What is Aus' reasoning for leaving? Seems like a great job. Great feeder program, very good history/tradition at Blaine. Lots of D1 players last decade or so, Several notable alums playing in the show (Hendricks, Bjugstad)...eventually Brodzy boys.

Have you ever been to the Brainerd Lakes Area? A person would be crazy not to get out of the Metro if they can move there and make a decent living.Sats81 wrote:What is Aus' reasoning for leaving?
