Greenway has upgraded its schedule (White Bear, Chaska, Achiever Academy, Champlin Park). Doesn't look like they will make the .500 mark. They will be a very young team, basically a JV age team. It would not be a big surprise if the sophomore class (has some good talent) represents the biggest group on the varsity team. If the team can progress as they did last year, they will be a decent team by sectionals. Expect a few games in running time. The schedule doesn't appear to be complete because Hibbing is not on it. Expect to see some changes as the season nears.

I know Rapids is trying to toughen-up their schedule and they are not interested in scheduling Greenway. Rapids could swap Greenway for Falls the next couple of years because I think Greenway will be better than the Falls in the near future. I know the ADs did renew the football rivalry when Greenway was fielding good football teams and those games were great. I'm not confident that will happen with hockey. Rapids has too much to lose by playing Greenway. I hope I get proven wrong. By the way, the three freshmen that played varsity last year are part of that solid sophomore class.
