Anybody heard any rumors about the events for HDM 2015?

Location, teams involved or any information?

I wouldn't trust the above information. It's not stated as fact on Minnesota Hockey Day's official Web page.

HDM has not been determined yet. Word is that a private entity was looking at taking over the event on a permanent basis and the work involved may have been more than they bargained for. Elk River had lot's of volunteers, putting in many hours to make the event a success and they turned in a 6 figure profit to put back into the community.

Translation: Someone sees a potential gold mine, with their name on it, with the resultant "Hockey Day In Minnesota" becoming "(Insert corporate name here) Hockey Day In Minnesota 2015"

Plenty of rumors. To avoid going to far maybe just the location rumors can stick. I've heard Eveleth and Roseau/Warroad.

Sorry to confuse. Didn't mean Roseau vs. Warroad. A possible location was in the Roseau or Warroad area but Eveleth makes sense (outside of the pit from Almost). Certainly if a private venture is stepping in they would want the Roseau/Warroad match-up but I don't see this happening on hockey day. Staying away from teams at this point.
