Hornets 3-peat Jefferson History may be matched
Let's not overlook the thing staring Minnesota High School Hockey in the Face.
Edina, the Yankees of Youth Hockey is looking to tie the 3-peat of Bloomington Jefferson. They are lead by Mr. Hockey 2015 Dylan Malmquist. Best Edina overall talent since Paul "1000+ NHL games" Ranheim. There deep, there experienced and the coach has been to state 7 years in a row, won 3 of the last 5, they are the program everyone wants to be and yes they want and try to get every kid in the school district to play hockey. Should we crown them again since 2AA is not bringing any contenders.

Ive had Edina rated #1 again since last springs tourney, likely to walk thru Section 2 and face LVN again in March 2015 finals, and likely to beat them again.
Furthermore, based on their 2016 returning roster as well as nationally ranked bantam pipeline players, they've got to be early favored for 2016 and 2017 as well. Could conceivably be five in a row.
MSHSL could have an interesting predicament on their hands if a public school is deemed too dominant.
Of course, goaltending talent accounts for half or more of the game, and Boe has got to prove himself during his senior year for the Hornets
On the flip side, somebody like Edquist , Dittmer or Howg could come thru with a once in lifetime performance and shut Edina down in a one game state tourney pairing. Mike Randolphs Hounds would never be intimidated, I believe they are the only team with a net winning record against Edina in winners bracket state tourney history.

Nobody is a bigger Edina supporter than me, but lets take a step back. This season has not even started yet and were talking about the 2017 seasonWestMetro wrote:Ive had Edina rated #1 again since last springs tourney, likely to walk thru Section 2 and face LVN again in March 2015 finals, and likely to beat them again.

Edina very likely to 3 peat. No doubts there. Malmquist as Mr. Hockey 2015? Much less likely.
