Pick the section winners

Back by semi-popular demand I'm posting this so we can start posting our predictions even though a few sections still haven't announced their seedings yet. Why does this matter? Because one of the rules is that you have to pick at least three teams which aren't #1 seeds. I mean, it'd be rather boring with a bunch of people just picking the top seeds, wouldn't it? So, here's the deal: 1. Pick who you think will win the 16 sections (8 in A, 8 in AA, of course) 2. At least three of those have to be teams which aren't seeded #1. <a href="http://www.minnhock.com/boys2005.htm" target="top">www.minnhock.com/boys2005.htm</a> shows the sections and seedings. It doesn't matter which class those three "underdogs" are which you pick. It can be three AA, three A, or any combination. Also, you can pick more than three non-top seeds if you want. 3. The section games start on Tuesday, Feb. 15 (actually, 2AA has their play-in games this Saturday, so those of you planning on picking one of the four teams playing that day to win 2AA may want to wait until Saturday night), so, the deadline for posting in this topic will be noon on Tuesday, Feb. 15. 4. Abbreviations; don't use one where it can be confusing what you mean (the SLP Factor from two years ago when St Louis Park and Spring Lake Park were in the same section). 5. You can edit your changes after you post them, but you can't edit after the deadline mentioned in #3. 6. Tie-breaker. We need a tie-breaker. Last season it was guessing the shots on goal for the UMD Bulldogs against North Dakota in the Friday night game. This year, the tie-breaker is this; guess the number of shots on goal the Bulldogs will have against the Denver Pioneers (played at Denver) on Friday, February 18. Don't know the Dogs? Learn.
