Could not leave until after tonight's game.
Can't miss the opportunity to see the Jacks prevail.

Actually leaving on Friday, gone Christmas week. Yes, in sunny, hot, wet Mexico.

And I will be at the game sitting with my beautiful, young wife (look for the oldest man in the stands with the young, best looking woman). Cheering on her nephew and the other Jacks (except the two that will be out for a week or two with injuries).

Go Jacks, stomp (or whatever you do to water) the wave!

Actually, it's a huge green wave, and what it does is Roll right over you.

In Green and White, of course.

The Green wave colors are actually Green, White, and Red.
Somebody, a couple of years ago, dubbed them the East Grand Forks Elves.
I kinda like that.
I expect there is no beer allowed or I would buy you and your young beautiful wife one.
Anyway, see you there.

No beer legally allowed, but a fine concession stand (but I do not have the need to brag it up on some hockey 'bored').

I will be there before the puck is dropped, but not by much. Need to artificially tan so I am ready for Mexico.

Not quite that dark, but hopefully enough color that I do not burn on the first day on the beach.

Blaine v Hill should be interesting, I remember last year Bengals outshot them 55-18 or something like that and lost 4-3.

Tufte on Blaine is a real nice player, could be playing this game a long time. Has size, skill and length that translates well to higher levels.

That rifle of his needs to stop hitting pipes and glass and start finding the back of the net. Blaine is continually improving game to game with mostly inexperienced players. With their tough schedule, they may end up with a mediocre record at year's end, but be primed for a nice playoff run.

Centennial 5
Duluth East 3

Final. Shots 30-22 East. Hounds were up 2-0 and more than doubling up the Cougars on the shot counter until they took a major late in the 2nd, and it all went to pieces from there. They show flashes, but are not playing complete games, and are not a top 15 team right now.

EGF, like always, is very physical and that cost them. Very good D, offense not as much, but a good goalie. SOG ended even. It is a pretty big rivalry from squirt hockey on up.
But as you said very entertaining.

Greenway 3, Eveleth 1. Greenway took 10 penalties. Apparently the players and coaches have learned nothing from the Denfeld game. Disappointed in their play this year. They have a chance to be the #5 seed, but I think they will underperform and be a 6 or 7. It's difficult to determine how good or bad they are when they play at least a period a game short-handed.

Over/under of combined penalties between Greenway and White Bear on Friday? The Bears like to take penalties too
