One Minnesotan on World Junior Championship

Post by MoreCowBell »

Has Minnesota lost it's edge in producing high end talent, maybe the Minnesota development model is obsolete, Love to hear some comments on this.

Collins likely won't make the team.

with the cuts today of Erne(F), McCarron(F) and Dougherty(D) being cut today, they're down to 9 D and 15 F. Since Santini is injured and hasn't played since Oct. 25th, I could see Collins making the team. If Santini is good to go, I could see DeAngelo and Downing being the last two cut for D. With the way the team is being set up as a smaller, faster offensive team, I could see Nick Schmaltz and Dylan Larkin being the last two forwards cut.
