Online Video Streaming Schedules

Post by TheHockeyDJ »

Karl, please make this a sticky. If you have an online streaming schedule please post it here. If you are interested in streaming games from your iphone, ipad, or professional setup, I recommend highschoolcube.com. Looking forward to schedules from mnhockeycenter.com and others.

I'm having very little luck finding any schedules so far. Mnhcokeycenter appears to have folded into Prep45, and they haven't updated their page since last March. Fox Sports Prep Zone appears to be dead, with no apparent replacement. I was worried the market might be a little over-saturated last season, and that may well have been the case.

There are a bunch of individual teams that seem to be getting all their games online now. Many are through highschoolcube.com, and there may be others; White Bear has The Horn, and I think Eden Prairie had their own thing going last season.

As usual, there are a few radio stations covering certain teams or areas, and a number of them are available on line through their own website and mnsportsnetwork.com. MSBN looks like it has a new platform, and occasionally does video.

But as for a semi-professional crew that actually picks out big games every week and streams them, I haven't seen a thing. If there isn't one, that would be a big loss...especially for Duluthians trying to get a handle on the Cities teams while doing rankings. Anyone know if Pete Waggoner has landed anywhere for this coming season?

If not, hopefully some of the amateurs can get out there and film their teams' games through things like Highschoolcube...it's not hard, and it sure is better than nothing!

EDIT: Looks like the Wayzata Turkey Trot may be available here: http://www.twelve.tv/hockeytournaments.aspx
We'll have to watch this site to see if it has more as the season goes along.

Grand Rapids streaming schedule

Post by boblee »

GRHS Hockey Online is proud to announce that it is teaming up with Grand Rapids High School and the High School Cube to stream 13 boys hockey games during the 2014-2015 season. This announcement is a follow-up to a summer announcement that GRHS Hockey Online would look into streaming high school games as early as this season.

The streaming slate will open with the home opener on Tuesday, December 2nd against Virginia/Mt. Iron-Buhl. That game, as well as well as five others, will stream the 1320 KOZY broadcast with the High School Cube video. Sheldon Willis will be on the call with Jason Merritt proving color commentary. The slate will include 12 home games and the game at Moorhead on January 31st.

There will be eight games that are streamed with a combination of Jon Toivonen and Tim How on the call with the feed through the High School Cube. Here is your first look at the initial streaming schedule.

December 2nd vs. Virginia/Mt. Iron-Buhl (KOZY audio)
December 5th vs. Roseau (KOZY audio)
December 6th vs. Warroad (KOZY audio)
December 12th vs. Duluth Marshall
December 13th vs. Lakeville North (KOZY audio)
December 29th vs. Mahtomedi
December 30th vs. St. Francis (KOZY audio)
December 31st vs. Brainerd
January 13th vs. Cloquet-Esko-Carlton
January 15th vs. Hibbing/Chisholm
January 31st @ Moorhead
February 6th vs. International Falls
February 10th vs. Duluth Denfeld (KOZY audio)

The streaming schedule also includes the 6th annual GRHS Hockey Online Legends Alumni Game presented by KOZY/KMFY, which is set to take place on December 26th.
