Saturday night Hill Murray at Braemar is the game to be at

Two years ago for that event, Edina #1 goalie was hurt, and greatly underappreciated Andrews Rohkowl(sp?) stepped up and as I recall it he held #1 Hill Murray to one goal before finally losing in OT -- one of the great H.S. battles in any venue in recent memory.

I believe that was the confidence booster that enabled Rowkohl to thrive in his senior year to help the Hornets win the tourney again in 2014.

And since my weekly Pick'em picks stunk and want a re-do to get this one wrong I'm going with a 3-3 tie between Edina and HM. Of course we have those refs that often appear at Braemar come big games.

Expecting this to be a good battle which could be a prelude to a state semi or final of course only if one of these generally unsuccessful hockey programs could beat 'easily' the best team of the modern era in LN.

Any streams of the east game today?
DE could've "easily" won state the last 5 years.

Going to be pretty packed at Braemar I assume? I went to the Edina/LVN game and there was no room to sit. Don't really want a repeat of that. More seating should help though.
I need ER vs BJ from 2002 State Quarterfinals. PM me.

LN 6-0 final over eastview. Gives nuts and bolts a little more to whine about with LN and all their silly recruiting. Take the diaper off big boy :)

What's wrong with a diaper? Need it with all the crap on this bored particularly what you and West are bouncing around to promote your chosen individuals. It actually might be fun to see LN crap the bed or diaper like last year only being the favored team this year. If it's Edina they play I probably have to cheer for the cake. LN being undefeated might be better with 16 D1 prospects in the eyes of proud promoter Sats.

Pioneers came out strong and took an early lead in SOGS but no goals. Then Hornets got a couple of good look low slot goals past Wendlandt later in period 1. Took the momemtum . In the 2nd, Pioneers missed power play opportunities especially when Hornet defenders were gassed. Then Hornets picked up a couple more. Got a shortie early in the third, and Lechner changed goalies. To their credit, Pioneers came back late in the 3rd and sniped a few past Boe to honorably close the gap. SOGS were very low for both teams, so I will give Lechner strategy some credit for upsetting Hornet offense in neutral zone . But, Hornets were the better team tonite, no doubt about that. But after seeing Cadets, Panthers, and Hornets all in the last week, I still got the Panthers in first class, Cadets and Hornets towards front of Coach, with other top 10 in the middle and back of the plane.
