Hermantown will win in running time. They are too big, strong, and fast. Hawks will go to state, and win it all this year. Best team they've ever had at Hermantown.

Good. if they can put # 12 AA team in running time the momentum will continue for them to quit trophy chasing
in A. I think it's a two goal game.

Should be one heck of hockey game, Hermantown is a perennial power but if WBL can hang with Edina, they should be very much in this game. 3-1(en) Hermantown.

Take it easy Bemused, Hermantown is a small, single A program. They only had 12 Mite teams last year. A huge Metro city like White Bear Lake has to have at least...... Okay, I guess they only have 12 too. Should be a good game!

Hermantown will win, but I have no idea by how much. I'd be willing to guess 6-3.

WBL is tough to read. The Greenway game and a loss or two along the way are puzzling. Others are very strong. I think Hermantown is just flat better and wins by 2-3.

Hermantown is good and should win....
I'll say 9 to 1.
or 4 to 3.
or....
I have no idea....
WBL is an enigma.

Game is scheduled to be streamed on www.thehornwbl.com at 7:15

Last year the Bears won 4-1 in the Hawkdome riding Wahlin's hat trick and 35 saves by Gorman. They are gone this year.

Both teams average 1.6 goals allowed per game. Should be a great game! Edge to Hermantown's special teams.

Going with the Hawks 4-2

Hermantown 2-1 after 1

Puck control and shots seem pretty even....They don't show scoreboard much.

The Hawks scored an even strength goal a few minutes into period. The Bears answered with a PP goal with a bit over 3 minutes left.
The Hawks got a PP and capitalized with 8 seconds to go.

WBL 1 for 2 on PP

HT 1 for 1 on PP

Hermantown 4-2 after 2

I believe the shots are WBL 23-19

WBL is faster, controlled most of the play I thought and had more good scoring chances but the Hawk goalie is playing well.

All goals were even strength with HT scoring again late in the period. Just 32 seconds left they sniped one in from just inside the blue line.

Final Hermantown 4-2

Shots were WBL 32-23

HT had 2 PP opportunities that period and WBL had 1 but neither team
could score.

The defense was pretty sloppy tonight for the Bears, a lot of odd man rushes and turnovers. How do you leave a player like Nate Pionk, wide open so much?

It's settled. With the changing demographics White Bear should be playing single A hockey.

It's clear you know nothing of WBL, or it's demographics. I have seen all the top AA teams play this year, and Hermantown can skate with any of them. Maybe they should move up.

Great game last night. WBL Is an excellent team. Rapids is going to have their hands full trying to contain the speed of WBL. Gonna watch this one online if it's available.

Hermantown the next St. Thomas, ie dominating A? Besides WBL, has Hermantown played Lakeville North, Edina, St. Thomas, Wyazata, Eden Prarie, etc? Not being critical but unless you load your scheduled with these types of teams its hard to compare.......

Yes In the Whine missed the poke at the HAwks (not HAAwks) but if you want a real jab at the Bears here goes. The Bears are overrated and didn't look good last night. They might want to start playing a more challenging schedule. You know like Hermantown at least until the HAwks get to the post season.

You're right about the schedule, I wish all of the non-conf games were top teams.
