Luverne

Why has no one spoke up about Luverne beating teams 14-1 twice a bunch 9 and 10 goal games and a 20-1. Have respect for other teams and players not to do that. Good job coaches

happens to be the fact 90% of the board here loves when Luverne stomps your team.

"Running up the score" threads come up every year and rarely change anyone's opinions.

Games have to be played. It's a disservice to the players on both teams to not play the way the game was meant to be played.
People on neither side like it nor have actually good (and only good) ideas been suggested on how to avoid it that I've ever seen.

I've always thought it'd be interesting to let teams change games scheduled if both teams can find a replacement team.

We honor goals scored against weaker teams at the youth levels. Why should high school be any different. When did MNH bump up the game disparity to 10 goals? A kid has two goals in the last minutes of a 9-0 running time game, he's trying to pump in another to 'earn' himself a patch.
