The top of the section, 1-3, seems pretty set. 4-6 are almost any order of DL, KCC, and Crookston and 7-9 can be any order of Park Rapids, RLF and Lake of the Woods. Bagley/Fosston would seem to have a strangle hold on #10.

If they end up the way you have them predicted, I would not rule out a Crookston or Kittson Central upset.

Seeds 2-6 all have the potential to win a couple of games if they can avoid drawing EGF, so it will be an interesting section tournament this year.

It was a costly loss to Red Lake Falls last night 4-3 at the Crookston Sports Center for the Pirates. Where will Crookston be seeded now? Where will Red Lake Falls be seeded? Will the game make any difference in how the coaches seed?

The Section 8A Boy’s Hockey coaches have their seeding meeting this morning (Wednesday – February 11).

5. Crookston (still has win over Warroad in their pocket)
6. Kittson County Central (will argue with Crookston losing to RLF, the Bearcats should be the 5 seed or WILL THEY?)

8. Park Rapids (Split with RLF and winning their last meeting and win over KCC in their pocket)
9. Red Lake Falls (A real argument for 8 seed after beating Crookston and why not?)

TRF or Warroad could pull an upset in the final, but don't see it happening.

Looking forward to EGF and Maht on Friday afternoon and the winner getting a shot at Hermantown (if they have anything left after the semi).

Nothing against DL but would like to see Hallock kcc make it to the semi in sections
