Ovechkin Rules All!!!!

Just some opinions on Alexander Ovechkin and him becoming the new Rookie of the Year. <p></p><i></i>

He's unbelievably good. fast, sees the ice well, plays physical between him and crosby...its hard to tell <p></p><i></i>

I'd give the nod to Ovechkin at this point because he is a more physical player, seemingly more complete, and he has more points. Both play for cellar dwellars, so there's no distinction between how good there teams are. If they go with the best rookie on the best team, it would have to be Dion Phaneuf of the Flames. If I had a vote, it would go to Ovechkin. <p></p><i></i>

If he is available, he's most likely gonna be my first pick in next year's fantasy draft. <p></p><i></i>

Vanek is doing pretty well for a rookie too, take away one the three (Crosby, Ovechkin, and Phanueff) and he'd be up for the award.<br> <p></p><i></i>

Ovechkin is clearly this year's ROY, and Phanneuf is ahead of Crosby. Sid the Kid is good, but Phanneuf can straight flatten people and has a wiecked slapshot <p></p><i></i>
