Not aware of many goalies who have been able to play in the USHL consistently right away in their senior year..I think the older Lindgren did it after leaving Lakeville South a few years ago..possible he starts the year in the NA and gets a quick call up..or he goes USHL right away..at any rate he won't be in Lakeville next year..Whiner33 wrote: NA I guess that was a shot eh?
You say it so confidently as if a fact. Anything you say should be taken with MORE than a grain of salt as you have certainly proved that time and time again. By the way, Charlie Lindgren played at LN not South.
Always personal with you..what a tool…I admitted you were correct about the LN D-1 kids a long time ago in case you missed it…... YOU WERE RIGHT!!!!!! ….I will check bak with you on this one too..out

So you are saying he is going to go directly from HS to the Gophers? That would be impressive for a goalie, for suregreen4 wrote:Imho... He stays.... What more does he have to prove at all? He has a scholarship to play for the gophers, he played at SSM and was considered one of the best goaltenders in the country for his age group. Why does he need to prove himself anymore in juniors? Has he not proven he is the real deal already?ilovemesomehockey wrote:He has shown a propensity for moving on and there is a trend for good goalies leaving early. Nothing personal. Just putting you in your place where you belong. When you state something as factual like you tend to always find a way to, make sure it is indeed factual and not just speculation there amateur scout.bemused wrote:Sats81 wrote:Kind of like 15 months ago when I told you this LN team had 7+ D1 hockey players and you told me I was nuts? Kentucky's season is more impressive. I understand most people on this forum don't particularly like or respect the sport of basketball, but it isn't even all that close. One plays college teams, one plays high school teams. I think we would all agree that an undefeated college hockey season would be better than an undefeated high school hockey season. This is no different. The argument that KY's is less impressive because they get to pick their players is a weak one. That's the nature of college sports. That's the nature of college period. People aren't bound to a particular college because of arbitrary school district lines. And the top teams they are competing against (and beating easily this season) also get to recruit the players they want. They beat Kansas by 32 points. For those not familiar with basketball, that's an ass whooping outlawed in most parts of the country these days. Kansas also gets whatever players they want as one of the premier programs in the country. They played Louisville several times this year, another top program, and got by just fine. Just don't be ridiculous.
With all that said, I picked Wisconsin when I filled out my bracket

Somebody call up the Common Man and Tenna B and get this guy in the Preposterous Statement Tourney for 2015! The DE/GR ranking and the GR BAA goalie>Edquist statements are pure gold.BodyShots wrote:Here we go again..... and DE and Rapids will be ranked #1 and #2 when they play each other next year.TheHockeyDJ wrote:They'll have to settle for 3rd best, they can't get Stejskal or Holum off the GR Bantam team.team22tank wrote: If Lakeville North has a hole at oh I don't know say goalie, they go out and get one, the best in the country. Plus the South Suburban was weak this year, that is 18 of their games.
Nothing to prove. But nothing to gain either. BIG jump from HS to Gophers. Even Stalock didn't do that.green4 wrote:Imho... He stays.... What more does he have to prove at all? No one said he is going to go straight from HS to college. He could play his sr year of HS-Juniors-College.NLHockey wrote:Nothing to prove. But nothing to gain either. BIG jump from HS to Gophers. If I were to venture a guess I would think Edquist is till at least 2 years out. Gophers have 2 goalies committed and while one is a real question mark the Schierhorn kid out of Muskegon has good numbers and we all know how TDon runs his goalies, if either one plays well its their job until they crap the bed big time.
