Re: Likely U17 NTDP selections, YHH article
I know the team hasn't been picked, but looking at past teams, it seems that if you had a brother on a previous team, you have a very good chance of making the team, is this nepotism or is the younger brother getting in on his ability? As Herb Brooks said may be more players should be involved in the process, if I'm wrong it's because I'm old and don't always get my facts right. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.WestMetro wrote:http://www.youthhockeyhub.com/news_arti ... id=1447935

That is correct. The story unfolds like this…Way back when, a certain assistant youth coach in Lakeville on the Southside who is now an assistant coach for North HS just happened to discover a few players from other associations who wanted to go to school in Lakeville. These players open enrolled in Lakeville and played their Pee Wee/Bantam youth hockey for Lakeville Hockey Association (South). After a few years had passed, this assistant coach left the Southside and went north taking some players, but not all, with him. Those players who stayed are now playing for South HS. You are right, just as evil as North, put not as good.nahc wrote:Is this correct?
