Austin Long is from SLP but has been down in Omaha the last couple of seasons. That U16 team has 6+ D1 commits so far this year. Almost all will need some time in Juniors to make the jump. Couple of MN boys on that list.

Omaha would put out a D-1 player one out of every three years.. Now a bunch of talent went there and people will think they're miracle workers..
Will be great seeing them boys get an education while playing and getting some damn good hockey training!
That's a nice feather in the cap for MVHS. They don't turn out D1 players too often. This will be helpful for encouraging youth hockey association participation and the public HS route.

Riese Zmolek from Rochester Century to Mankato State. It's been a while since a Rochester player went D1, Alex Kangas might be the last one about a decade ago.

I have kept the guys out that went to Shattuck - unless they played a year of MN High School Hockey and then went to SSM and got a deal later on.. But congrats to Tyler - thats good news..!
I try to keep this list just for the guys that didn't get a D1 ride until after MN High School or left early and played Juniors or Midgets somewhere then got a deal. But they had to of played at least 1yr of MN High School Hockey.
