Yes they are a junior team, but most of the players this weekend are in high school.
This weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Richfield Ice Palace the Magicians will be holding their final try out camp of the summer. Free to go and watch and is very good.
Friday 10:45 AM to 9:45 PM
Saturday 7:45 AM to 12:45 PM and 5:30 PM to 10:30 Pm
Sunday 7:45 AM to 1:45 PM with the last hour as an All Star game.
Come on in from the heat of the day to a nice cool and comfortable 55 degrees. Should be some good hockey.
Sorry no beer sales for this weekend.

Re: Magicians final tryouts this weekend
When the Magicians first started, it was implied to me that they'll only take current HS players if that player's HS coach agrees it's better for the kid's development. I hope that is still their policy. There's no good reason to snipe kids from the MSHSL when there are so many local graduates who could fill those roles. However, I do see some legitimacy for moving a talented kid out of a completely non-competitive program.Zamman wrote:Yes they are a junior team, but most of the players this weekend are in high school.

As far as implied, take a look at everything in the world. Never is what is implied.
I am just pointing out what is happening if someone wants a hockey fix.
