Post by hermantown2000 »

Anyone have any ideas which single A private school that may go to AA next? My guess would be Breck.

Well, factoring in success in single A, an extremely low reduced lunch rate, a huge surrounding metro population, and being an affluent community, the next private school to opt up should be...

Hermantown! :D

Actually, I think Breck is the next logical candidate, as they have been an A powerhouse for a long time.

Hey Sats81:

Your neighbors already opted up. STA, I mean lakeville south, went AA last year.

SPA will not go AA. They have a good group now that a former coach brought in. Probably a decent financial aid package that came hand in hand. Just don't see the pull to get the necessary numbers and depth with other alternatives out there.

That's a good way to put it, But the rink is in some need for a few upgrades.

Please, someone comment on the irony of Hermantown calling for anyone to move up.

I saw that and was mulling over the irony. Thought it best to kick back and see if anyone else saw it and commented. Nice.

The Derek Zoolander Center For Children Who Can't Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too or the Bruce Plante Academy of Science.

Honestly, Class A is running out of 'legitimate' private school powerhouses to opt up. I've always thought Breck should, though they have been less dominant in recent years. We'd see a truly wide open Class A if Breck and Hermantown went AA. I'm not entirely sure if EGF is set up to continue this run, if they are, then them too (that isn't my area of expertise).
