Post by SquirtC'00 »

This week we have a longer show as again we are joined by Karl(east) and Tony Scott from the Youth Hockey Hub. We recap the BIG EP/Benilde game from last Friday as well as others. We also preview the upcoming Edina Holiday Classic tournament in detail happening this week. Again we love your feedback on the show it gives us topics to discuss on next week’s show. Also follow us on Twitter @cohshockeypod for live stats and updates from games. Thanks for listening.

Tony "Scott" forgot to mention that last week he predicted Rapids beating LN by a touchdown. Rule #1) Tony "Scott" is NEVER wrong. Rule #2) If Tony "Scott" does happen to be wrong (NEVER), please refer back to Rule #1.

Thank you.

Good podcast, thanks to for putting this together every Sunday. Really enjoy listening to this while having my Monday morning coffee. This podcast, shots fired at #21 for GR and sounds like the scouts were very unimpressed. Gonna be curious to see how said player responds in Edina this week.

You mentioned a couple times throughout talking about some of the top freshman in the state, do you think you could give us a top ten of who you think belong on that list??

In my opinion I think that he needs consistency from his line mates as well. He has not been playing with the same players through the beginning parts of this season which I believe has limited his threat. But traditionally #21 has had some big plays in this tournament like scoring the big first goal in the Edina game where Hunter Shepard stood on his 2 years ago.

I agree it will be nice to have the top line back and healthy for a while. And keep in mind: "don't shoot the messenger". I'm glad #21 is back for his senior year and is always a threat to score. I just shared what was said in the podcast.

YHH, I notice only 1 Tonka kid on your freshman list? Could be 2 or 3? Also, Schneider of Lakeville not on your list, seems to be on others lists?
