If South still had Koepke and Swaney where do you think they would have been ranked around this year?Sats81 wrote:2 kids for sure (Ess and Olsen)...both were in Elite League...Ess a Jr, Olsen a soph.elliott70 wrote:If lakeville were 1 school would ls provide some impact players to the on roster?Sats81 wrote:Lakeville North 7 Lakevile South 0. Swaney is a game changer. ( I would even argue that he would be giving Tufte a run for his money for Mr. Hockey at this point) Great hockey player (just look at what he is doing in USHL right now if there is any doubt)...personally I think Ess is a better hockey player then Knoepke...with that being said I still don't think they compete with North. After Olsen and Ess they drop off considerably and if it wasn't for South's goaltending in first period last night it could have easily been 10, 11, 12-0. South's goalie made some huge saves in 1st....no clue why Bucchino pulled him after 1 as he was only thing that kept them even close up to that point as it was 3-0.green4 wrote:If South still had Koepke and Swaney where do you think they would have been ranked around this year?Sats81 wrote:2 kids for sure (Ess and Olsen)...both were in Elite League...Ess a Jr, Olsen a soph.elliott70 wrote: If lakeville were 1 school would ls provide some impact players to the on roster?
Since the Justin Kloos era ended at South I believe North is 9-0 against them and I really don't see that changing anytime soon.

For being in the Elite League, Olsen and Ess have not lit the conference on fire. The only way South can compete against North is by committee. My guess after last night, the South coach has figured this out and will be trying different line combinations/strategies.Sats81 wrote:Swaney is a game changer. Say H.B.T.Cities sports the coaching cap, how is your line combos going to help change the result? And wow throw the top players under the bus. Get the puck to the power forward more and keep the top 2 on the ice any way you can. Add a sprinkle of new blood and things will be just fine.Defensive Zone wrote:For being in the Elite League, Olsen and Ess have not lit the conference on fire. Who is the power forward? When I looked out there the other night, everyone looked the same...no one stood out like some of the players from the past. Please elaborate?HILARY2016 wrote:Say H.B.T.Cities sports the coaching cap, how is your line combos going to help change the result? And wow throw the top players under the bus.
