No upsets in 7AA action this evening, as all of the higher seeded teams that have so far played advance to the semi's.

15 of 20 contestants are tied with 8 points each. Real separation will not occur until the section semifinal games and correct scores come into play.

Another double overtime game:
#5 Holy Family/Waconia 2, #4 Shakopee 1 (2OT)
Lexi Hartmann made 37 saves to limit 4th seeded Shakopee to a single goal. Molly Garin, who took three penalties herself - including one in the first overtime - scored the game winner in the second OT.
17 of 20 had Shakopee advancing, so it was a nice win for the other three (panpan111, spars46, and cjmhockey19) who called the upset.

Crystalyn Hengler's 3 goals + 3 assists led the offense for the Eagles who skate to an easy win over the Jaguars.
No one was surprised that the Eagles wouldn't advance to meet Chaska/Chanhassen in the 2AA semifinal on Tuesday night.

The Pioneers, led by Laura Anderson's two goals and two assists, fired 66 shots in an easy and expected quarterfinal win. Probably the biggest question here is, how did they allow the one goal?
Another easy point-getter for everyone in our group.

All three goals were scored in the first 2:23 of the game and it was Maddy Fiedler who scored the last one at 2:23 as the Storm Hawks narrowly escaped Prior Lake's upset bid.

All 20 on our panel add the Semi Team Point.

I think final was 6-3 with the stormhawks advancing.

Olivia Arkell's goal at 7:09 of the 3rd period was the game winner in #4 Stillwater's 4-1 win over rival Roseville. The Ponies' last two goals were empty-netters in the last minute of play, so the game was closer than the final score would indicate.
This was a difficult game to predict, as evidenced by our split panel. Slightly more than half - 11 of 20 - got it right and earn the Semi Team Point.

With the results of all five AA games played this evening now in the books, here's where things stand in our contest. Very tight - and still very early for it to mean much of anything.
