Top AA Goalies

Post by hunting247 »

Who's your pick for top AA goalies. Don't have a horse in the race (wish I did). I've seen 6 out of 8 goalies play this year

My list based on combo of GAA SV% and opponents faced

1. Enright - Sophmore - Farmington - key games LVN / Benilde / stong schedule

2. Benson - Senior -Stillwater - 2 key wins vs HM /medium/strong schedule

3. Schilling - Senior - Wayzata - Few key wins vs strong oponents / stong schedule

4. Durocher - Senior- EP - Shaky at first but solid though end of year / strong schedule

5. Lee - Senior - Burnsville - Huge wins @ sections / meduim/strong schedule

6. Fitzgerald - Sophmore - solid goalie with key wins / medium schedule

7. Holum - Sophmore - Grand Rapids -solid goalie with potential / Meduim schedule

8. Olson - Senior - Anoka - Solid goalie with a few key wins / Medium Schedule

1. Enright - Sophmore - Farmington - key games LVN / Benilde / MEDIUM_STRONG schedule(5)

2. Benson - Senior -Stillwater - 2 key wins vs HM /MEDIUM schedule (7)

3. Schilling - Senior - Wayzata - Few key wins vs strong oponents / STRONG schedule (2)

4. Durocher - Senior- EP - Shaky at first but solid though end of year / STRONG schedule (1)

5. Lee - Senior - Burnsville - Huge wins @ sections / MEDIUM STRONG schedule (4)

6. Fitzgerald - Sophmore - solid goalie with key wins / MEDIUM schedule (6)

7. Holum - Sophmore - Grand Rapids -solid goalie with potential / MEDIUM-STRONG schedule (3)

8. Olson - Senior - Anoka - Solid goalie with a few key wins /MEDIUM ( 8)

FIXED your strength of schedule based on total schedule. Which goalie played in the difficult games takes a bit more work.

I've seen all of these kids play except Anoka, and my favorite is the goalie from Grand Rapids, Holum. He's the most technical of the lot. Durocher would be my least favorite. He's also the only one NOT listed as a MN top prospect, so I guess I'm not alone.

I've seen some terrible lists, but this is got to be one of the worst. Most of the top goalies are not even listed.
