Marshall beat New Ulm at home in the last minute. And why would they move up in the section by beating LeSueur?
So, Luverne gets the #1, Marshall #2, LDC #3, NUSE 4, Hutch 5, Redwood 6?

Which Cardinals would that be: Fairmont, Redwood Valley, or Willmar? And this thread is entitled "Marshall 3A hockey". That might clue you in on whom I support.
Last winter the Luverne "home game" against Hutchinson was played in Marshall. I went as a neutral. I sat in front of some Hutchinson parents and asked them why the Luverne "home game" wasn't being played in Luverne. They said that the Hutch coach (not sure if it is the current one or not) refused to travel down to Luverne. Seems he had a falling out with a former Luverne coach. Whatever.
The parents said that Hutch gets plenty of games within the area around them without having to make that long trek down to the SW corner. And considering that Luverne blew them away 8-0 in that game, I kind of agree with them.

Nope, not traveling anywhere for a while. Marshall has improved, but they were shut out by Luverne in Marshall again this season so I can't see an offensive breakout from the Tigers happening down in the Blue Mound arena.better late wrote:Teak, heading to Luverne Thursday? Could be a good one.
