Lets hear it BoDangles. What happened in yesterdays game? Looks like a pretty one sided game by shots.

MAML beat Chisago Lakes Thursday, are they now the clear cut favorite to be seeded #1 in 5A?

Here is how I see the seeds currently

1. Chisago Lakes- Yes they did just lose to Monticello, but that is their first and only section opponent loss all year.

2. Monticello- If I were a betting man, I would put my money on Monticello winning this section, but they do have 2 section losses to Chisago Lakes and Princeton.

3 North Branch- Are currently on a 5 game win streak which includes section wins over Princeton and Mora. They also beat Cambridge, which is a common opponent for most 5A teams, in that win streak.

4. Princeton- Started the year strong with going 5-0, beating Monticello and North Branch, but have fallen off lately. They have lost 11 of 12 since January 1st, and have had some disappointing losses to Mora and North Branch.

5. Pine City- Do not have any wins against the teams above them, but have a 7-2 win over Cambridge which has beaten Chisago Lakes twice, and Princeton once. They did beat Mora both times they met, which is probably the team that would challenge them for this seed the most. Could potentially move up with Princeton's drop in play.

6. Mora- Had a big win against Princeton, but then followed it up with a tie to Legacy.

7. Sauk Rapids- Have a tougher than average schedule for the section, but really haven't done anything with it. They have beat the three teams below them though

8. Becker/Big Lake- Beat Moose Lake both times they played, but also lost to Legacy early on in the year.

9. Moose Lake- All three wins have come against Legacy.

10. Legacy Christian- 1 win on the year against Becker/Big Lake. Did just tie Mora, so maybe they are playing better hockey.

They are the clear cut sandbaggers... Currently 6-1-1 against AA teams and 2-1-1 against their former section 8AA opponents. The MSHSL got duped by a 2,000 student program that had leadership with a good lie/sob story...

They knew exactly what was coming..

Since you requested my opinion..

MAML is the only team in the section in the top 20 of single A at #18. If you can't get by the 18th best team in the state... I don't get the gripe.

Careful not to get him going. He has been crying about it all year. Funny I didn't notice a problem last year when Princeton was beating MAML.

I guess you can't comprehend the facts in my posts.. It's all about doing things with merit, not by scam.

Only the threads involving 5A. Can't wait to see you sitting at the intermission table when MAML is playing at state pleading your case they should be in AA.
