What happened in the parking lot after the game? Getting a report on Twitter of an incident/brawl.

Could be a short postseason for Rapids if they continue to take stupid penalties and have trouble scoring. Also, looks like Holum will likely get the nod again in the nets, come playoff time.

Two dads whose boys were going at it thought they should. A couple of punches some pushing, lots of f bombs. Serious for a few minutes than diffused.

When they added mouth guards and face masks some of the fun was removed from the game. :)

The lack of overall discipline at Grand Rapids over the past few years continues to astound.

Yes, this team appeared to lack discipline and it shows in results of some games. Their top end players are very good, but this is and will hurt them.
Klatt should pull a Dickie Johnson and let them sit on the bench staring at the wall behind them.

Bemidji suffered a similar problem early on but Coach Chido seems to be getting them more controlled.

Rapids cannot play that way and expect to beat DEast and ER.

When I was joking about the parking lot scrap I assumed it was just fans/kids. I would have thought that after the Hermantown game the players would be able to show a little more control.

In the 952, it would have just involved parents with law degrees serving papers to each other......

Both Rapids and Greenway are a little disappointing this year for the same reason. Lack of discipline resulting in way too many short-handed situations. I'm not surprised about Rapids considering their conduct at the State tournament but I am with Greenway as they seemed to have solved this problem last year. Don't see either team getting any further than the second round and both are susceptible to an upset in the first round.

Elliott, should I change my thinking on section 8 and figure Bemidji will be down at the X for the third straight year? If so , do you want to play Eden Prairie in the first round, just to get them behind you?

Fitzgerald a three-year starter, over 90%....

Pollock, Tatro, Hartje hitting their peak...

Good supporting cast playing with confidence

All this resulting in good momentum for the Jacks!

Not often that I can say I am actually a little embarrassed by the behavior of so many players and parents in my town but...... I am. Get it together people or maybe get some bantams up here to play the game like GR should be playing. Better figure it out and now or you/we will all be watching from above ice level in March.

Like the parents there would allow a coach to bench their kid. That is funny.
