The truth I see about Northern Lakes is their fancy record is built on a schedule so weak it makes a Section 3A schedule look like playing Hermantown every game.
A 19-3-1 team that will probably host a play-n game, and probably not even be the highest seeded host.
19 wins - Signature win or wins: 2-1 over Detroit Lakes? 5-2 over Princeton?
1 tie - 3-3 vs Cambridge-Isanti. Give them credit, they fought up a weight class, a 7 win AA team.
3 losses - 2-5 to Virginia, 1-5 to Lake of the Woods, and 0-6 to Little Falls.
At least their fans aren't squawking they need to be ranked in the top 20 like the Park Rapids fans were 10 years ago or so when they had a 20 win season.
But what do you see?
