Should GoldenBear get his 2 points back in pick'em standings

Hey guys, so here is the deal.
I am the scorekeeper in Pick'em standings and In week 7 I accidentally gave GoldenBear two extra points. I did not realize the mistake until now, at the start of the final week, which is week 12, so 5 weeks later. GoldenBear sits tied for fourth in the standings at 58 points, but he was under the impression he had two more points so he assumed he would be sitting at 60. The people ahead of him have 64, 63, 62 and 62 points entering the final week. Only four points back gives him a slim chance to win the title, but it could happen, sitting 6 points back I would call a million to one shot.

I feel pretty crusty taking away two points because of my mistake in the final week with the title on the line so I am looking to the forum for an answer or maybe because I ain't firm enough to make decisions for myself, either or. So vote if you want a say, especially if you are involved in Pick'em

Not in the pick em, but it is not fair to the other players who earned their points.

If he didn't earn them, he doesn't deserve them. This ain't the government giving free handouts. Consider this like IRS audit, and take the points away. Better yet, how about this:

GB: Show your integrity and drop the 2 points.

If I didn't earn them I don't get them. Greenie thanks for the discussion. Full discosure, I just noticed the discrepancy the past week where I was shorted two points. I didn't notice that I was given two extra points a few weeks earlier. Green4 thanks for the extra work on this one. Move on! GB
