Yes. It was senior night. The boys had fun tonight. Back to work Monday night when Duluth East comes to Cloquet. I'm expecting there will be a big crowd for this one. 2,000+.

They might be reeling.
Reeling from?
Guessing he meant DE will be reeling from ER game. Game tomorrow should be a good one.

The Injuns are going to need to dig deep to get past Marshall or Andover. Based on the last couple of games, I doubt they will do it. I hope I am wrong.

Yea that could be a tough one. Wonder if CEC beats them tomorrow and with the past few games do they slip to the 4 seed?

I would think there is a chance of that. They are definitely not the team they were in December.

How do you best explain their nosedive? I recall that Karl had them ranked as high as No. 3 in December...
Good question. I live too far away to have any inside info on them. Most of what I know either comes from here or the games I can watch. Lot of comments on here about lack of discipline. Again, I can't say with any type of certainty, but it sure does seem that way.

I would also think maybe they are relying too much on the top 3 and they over the season now are getting burnt out from all the ice they have been getting..

I think they have done a good job of spreading them out through the lineup. They have had a lot of different combinations during the year. They just seem to be in a stretch where they get down a goal or two and start in with the penalties. The big guns do have to spend a lot of time killing power plays. That is nobodies fault but their own. If they correct that I think they will be fine.
Rapids has been doing it with good goaltending and the play of the 3 forwards. After that, this is a average team at best. Now that there are issues with 2 of the 3, this team is extremely vulnerable to an early exit.
The blueline has struggled as well lately.
