Anyone have ny information on this? I know Lee had a problem early in the year over swearing between periods and a parent went nucular when he benched a star player...

Everyone has various metrics and such they use for something like this. To me I look at a guy like Randolph who took over something not too great, made it a top program, and has kept it at a high level. Like him or not the track record is there.

If it's not about the coach why mention it at all?

The reason I mention it is because of the question asked and Rapids certainly fits the question. I have a lot of respect for Klatt and didn't want anyone to think I thought he was anything but a good coach.

My opinion of a good coach? Anyone that can last more than 4-5 years at the same high school all the BS they have to put up with from parents, etc.

how does EP hold on to its top players and not loose them to juniors like many teams?

Except for a good batch of some of the top end kids off the Edina Squirt and PeeWee teams from 3-5 years ago that literally never lost. A pretty good chunk of that crew has scattered.

EP holds onto players because of the culture there. They obviously have something going on there where kids are having fun, it's positive atmosphere, and the grass isn't appearing greener in junior. Kudos to EP.
