Not sure what you mean by this or what numbers you are looking at but these are not the teams with a history of going to state before the Tier2 fiasco and the current AA - A system.

You left out (# trips in about 48 year span)

Roseau 26
So St Paul 25
Edina 19
St Paul Johnson 19
International Falls 16
Minneapolis SW 15
Hill 13 (of 18 possible)
Grand Rapids 11 (not until the 70s, pretty impressive after that)

Of the team listed Eveleth has 12 but last one in that time period was 1956.

TRF and Hibbing have 9.

Greenway and Warroad 6.

I may have miscounted by one or so on any of them and did not check all of them just those that I remember as being perennials

Mathrunner, bat-mite, HSHW. The name changes but the skewed facts don't.

I was looking at current Class A schools, looking at success pre-tiers and, just like you made a mistake, so did I and it looks like I missed a few. My comment was in response to the person who posted "All Class A has accomplished is unnatural runs of dominance and propelling private schools that never had hockey backgrounds into powerhouses."

Sure, I could've omitted the word "only," or taken a few minutes and not missed those I did, but the point is still the same. Since Class A/Tier II, there have been 58 programs going to state in Class A/Tier II, many are not programs who would've made it otherwise.

It's pretty cool to see the programs that have been.
