I would love to see MAML go the championship game and beat Hermantown, then hear someone from Hermantown complain that MAML should be AA!!!!MrBoDangles wrote:Actually go way up... Any suggestions on where to go to get in depth analysis of what happened in this game?? I saw MAML play my hometown team---Sartell--- twice this year and neither game was close (5 and 6 goal wins for Sartell)... From what I saw, I didn't expect them to stay with 4 goals of Delano in this game. Was it just a hot goaltender for MAML or was Delano just outplayed?

This analysis isn't "in depth" enough for you?hockey9011 wrote:Any suggestions on where to go to get in depth analysis of what happened in this game?? Very impressive showing by MAML. That top line has some real skill, and if they hold up through a lot of shifts, I like their chances against Northfield on Friday. Delano, on the other hand, had a bunch of flashes, but never quite seemed to reach any fluid state. I'd blame it on it being their first Tourney game, though of course that didn't hurt MAML or Northfield. (Might be a bit different when one team has a lot more expectations, while no one expects anything of the other two.) I still go back to their defense, which was what worried me about them when I saw them early in the season...they just struggled to break out at times and got bogged down, and everything sort of followed (or didn't follow) from there. Learning experience for a program I expect to see at State again in the not so distant future.
