That moves Rapids from a top ten team to an average AA team. Will battle for the 4,5 or 6 seed with Marshall and Andover in Section 7 behind East, Cloquet and Elk River.Usthockey13 wrote:I believe Hain is set to head to Ann Harbor, McLaughlin to Chicago and Stejkal staying in Bloomingtonkniven wrote:Hopefully this hire will keep Blake, Gavin, and Holum around for another year.
Agreed. I do think Andover will be in the 3rd or 4th slot. East and CEC will be epic northern battle this winter. The Elks are always going to have the numbers advantage and talent more often than not. I see East doing some heavy recruiting in the next several yeArs to stay competitive with CEC, Andover and Elk River. Marshall will be better this year than last year.greenwayraider wrote:That moves Rapids from a top ten team to an average AA team. "Hain, for one, told the News Tribune on Wednesday that he will be joining the U.S. National Team Development Program's Under-18 squad..."

Glad to see they got that taken care of quickly. Should be a smooth transition as he has been coaching these kids for many years as well. He grew up playing for the Orange and Black and has a very impressive resume for his hockey career.
I have always believed that every coach they put behind the bench has been a good one. It's a good hockey town with a good tradition. I don't see that changing anytime soon.
Skol Injuns.
