pre-season scrimmages
Though scrimmages mean very little, any info on scrimmage schedules would be nice before they start.

Any results?
Blake did not surrender a goal, but both Stillwater and Sartell kept scores close. The Sartell scrimmage was quite lopsided, but both Sartell goalies played very well (score was 1-0). Stillwater was a little more balanced, but Blake scored 2 or 3. Blake is going to be very fun to watch this year.

FollowThePuck GIRLS said that, "Edina, #1 in Class AA, outscored two opponents today, Roseville & St. Paul United, 21-1. All fwds scored at least once.". And, "FL Scrimmage resultsj4241 wrote:Any results?
FL 5 St. Cloud 1

Also saw on the MSHSL website that they have a 9th grader on the roster this season. She is a good one...IMO would be a slam dunk to make any roster in the state except SSM U19. I did NOT see a Def that committed to the Gophers this weekend...I have no idea if she was allowed to or chose not to tryout for the HS team. She also would be a slam dunk to make any roster in the state except SSM U19.
The Hornets will be deep for many, many more years...

Any clue what grade she's in now? I read where she's the second youngest to ever commit to a D1 school?massalsa wrote:I did NOT see a Def that committed to the Gophers this weekend...I have no idea if she was allowed to or chose not to tryout for the HS team. I hate to think that's perceived as a badge of honor (youngest ever)... It is fun to cheer for these great athletes and their success at the goal of playing after high school. But hockey, both boys and girls, desperately needs the lacrosse rule.
