Does Duluth Denfeld upset the Hounds in the enormous inner city rivalry game?

I don't think so. I have a lot of respect for the tenacity and resilience of denfeld hockey, playing against them growing up, but east is too big and strong. DE will be tired from the metro swing sweep but this team is too deep and big.

I can see the Hunters coming away with a win if a few key things happen.

1) They need to hit, and it has to start on the very first shift. They need to play as physical as possible, and try to wear down a potentially tired hounds.
2) They need to have lock tight defense and patience as the Hounds cycle very well.

If they can do these they stand a small chance of squeezing out a win, but look for East to hit back with those big bodies they have.

And #3, DEasts bus breaks down on the 'long' trip.

The possibility exists, maybe a greater chance than I’m letting myself believe, with road trip fatigue and coming off an emotional high of knocking off Tonka. I think East wins, but they won’t blow out Denfield.

Not that I know of. 10-0 after two. Worth with the hat trick, SOG 45-5. Hoping for a quick, uneventful third period.

13-0 final by East over Denfeld.

A "tidbit" of history; the last time East scored that many goals against Denfeld was on 12/15/94 when East won 13-0. Four weeks later, Denfeld shut out East 2-0.

Well then ... I'm liking that history, as that is also the year east won it all ;)

Yeah... to use Bob Uecker’s quote, “Just a bit outside!”

Impressive win by East, and a humbling one at that. I’ll take the crow fried, with a touch of BBQ sauce.

I was thinking it might be running time but not bold enough to predict it.
