Hudson 5-2 over Breck. It would be interesting to see how Hudson would fare against some stronger Minnesota competition, though I’m sure both sides expected the Mustangs to be better when the game was scheduled.

This is definitely a setback for Cloquet, and may well cost them any chance they had at the 3-seed in 7AA. But I don't think this is a colossal upset, as the East game is probably not a good standard to judge Flake's overall body of work by. They have a winning record, they beat Andover, they have one-goal losses to the two top-10 teams in their conference (CDH and WBL), and they have a one-goal loss to Marshall. For the most part, they've been a pretty competitive team. As the likely 6-seed in 7AA, they won't be an easy out for whoever gets the 3-seed.

Goalie for Forest Lake very steady all night. Very frustrating to watch.....but excellent goaltending can win games. I don’t know if we’ll get a home playoff game now.

I can probably agree with Karl's post a little not using East game as a standard; but this was a big upset. "Smalley, Smalley, Smalley"!!! Cloquet had all of thier players back too didn't they? WOW!
