When willl 7AA matchups be announced
Just wondering when the 7AA matchups will be announced? I thought I read somwhere that this Friday (the 16th) was going be the day. That would not make sense because the play in game is this Saturday. Wouldnt they want to have the section playoff seeding/selection meeting a least a couple of days before so that the teams that are in the play in game woould have time to prepare?

Will be by 10 am Friday after the tiebreakers are finished.elliott70 wrote:Friday as soon as QRF is released.
Should be 8AM
Who decides when my Section seeds?
The last date games count for seeding is solely determined by the Section, we are usually informed by the Tournament Manager. The time we seed is by 10 AM the following morning. So if the Section tells us the last day games count is on a Saturday, you will get your seeds by 10 AM the following morning.

Yea they are waiting till all the teams are done with regular season. If for some reason Elk loses to Hill tonight that could make 3-5 really interestingTheHockeyDJ wrote:I didn't realize the QRF wasn't going to be tallied until Friday. I guess Rapids has another chance to improve their ranking with their game vs Hermantown tomorrow night.
I'm pretty sure Elk River needs to win against Hill-Murray and AC Wings to secure the 3 seed, otherwise CEC gets the 3 and ER the 4. Either way DM appears to be the 5 seed.Usthockey13 wrote:Yea they are waiting till all the teams are done with regular season. I'm actually wondering whether Rapids has a chance to improve to the 7 seed since I assume strength of schedule plays into the points and Rapids clearly has played stronger opposition than St. Francis, you would think they'll overtake them if their opponents win some games on Wednesday and Thursday.
Interesting. CEC with the 3 seed.Traxler wrote:I'm pretty sure Elk River needs to win against Hill-Murray and AC Wings to secure the 3 seed, otherwise CEC gets the 3 and ER the 4. If St. Francis played Rapids schedule they'd lose by 10-15 goals almost every game.Traxler wrote:I'm pretty sure Elk River needs to win against Hill-Murray and AC Wings to secure the 3 seed, otherwise CEC gets the 3 and ER the 4.
