Yeah sometimes life throws you a curveball and reminds you that there are other things that are a higher priority than hockey. But we will be there in spirit and listening to the game on the radio. GO SPUDS!Potatohead9 wrote:I will be there, spudnut and Cityspudsguy will not be making the trip.elliott70 wrote:Out of Moorhead and there should be audio on the internet.WestMetro wrote:Which radio tonite? I think that is selling the STMA program short. Plenty of schools have grown significantly in recent years but have failed to translate it to success on the hockey rink. One only needs to look at neighboring Buffalo and Rogers as examples. STMA has been building toward this moment over a number of years through their youth program and the hard work of coaches and parents.alcloseshaver wrote:It was inevitable that St. Mikes would arrive with the growth in the school. Should move to the Lake or NW Suburban conference in a few years.

I agree, wasn't intending to short change them. Great sports programs across the board. Just getting to big for most of the Mississippi 8.Stang5280 wrote:I think that is selling the STMA program short. No problem, and hopefully my comment didn’t come off as being too harsh. I do agree that STMA is outgrowing their conference, as are Buffalo and Rogers for that matter. I was just talking about that subject recently with a friend who teaches at Buffalo and coaches another sport. He hates the Miss 8 affiliations, but doesn’t expect it to change soon and tries to schedule aggressively outside of conference play.alcloseshaver wrote:I agree, wasn't intending to short change them. Wait, I thought I was your only friend.
