I don't have much time to prepare, and it's been a year since I've done it, so I lost a quite a bit of what I've known.

I have a few questions, which I would like answered:

Which penalties are most common for highschool hockey (girls)?

Is it 100% necessary to always state the time of events such as goals (I generally don't think the audience really cares to hear it, and I'm just wasting my breath) and if so, what's the process of doing so? Isn't it you subtract what's left in the period from the overall time of a period? Example: At the 2 minute and 43 second mark, cross checking penalty on number 17 of...

Can someone explain to me how to state a Coincidental minor and/or major penalty? Are they quite common?

Re: Announcing a girls hockey game.
