Greenway 3, Denfeld 3 going to OT

St. Thomas and Eden Prairie tie 2-2. Entertaining game that went in waves back and forth; EP probably had the somewhat better of the play, but a tie is a very fair outcome. The refs mostly swallowed the whistles, which (perhaps surprisingly) was probably more to STA's benefit. The one they had to call was a sequence in a corner in which STA goalie Muzzy Donahue threw a few haymakers at EP's Drew Holt after he'd been holding someone in the corner...that one went into the "you see something new every day" category.

But, plenty to like for both teams. STA showed a toughness they don't always show, and I continue to like what I see out of EP in terms of their depth. (Rudrud and Wilhite's play together on the second line really helped give them an edge there.) Brendan McFadden had some good moments, so I assume he has his hockey legs back now after football season, and while they have some sophomore moments, the potential of EP's young guns is obvious. These two definitely belong right near each other toward the top of the rankings.

Rapids over Virginia 4-3. GR lead 4-0 until middle of the 3rd when the Bluedevils put in 3 to make it tight at the end. Much needed win for the T Hawks.

Mahtomedi had HM on the ropes after jumping out to a 3-1 lead early in the 2nd, but the Pioneers dominated the rest of the game and pulled out a 4-3 win.

Blake game ended with some minor shenanigans. I went back to watch the closing horn of the live stream and it was pretty minor. Last night the Hub showed 4 Game Misconducts and today 4 Misconducts for "Second Misconduct (Same Game)" - which triggers a Game in a USA Hockey Youth game, which these are not.

My question is whether the four players are out for the next. Would seem to be excessive given what transpired.
