Does anyone know if FSN is going to televise any HS Hockey games this season? I know there has been discussion about it before, but I was just wondering if they have planned any hockey games after they tried televising HS football games.<br><br>We're the state of hockey, I think the ratings would be a little better for a hockey game then a football game...to me its atleast worth a try. <p></p><i></i>

I doubt the ratings would be there. <br><br>Besides, we wouldnt want to encroach upon the excellent coverage, camera work, and commentary we get from our local cable access now would we. <p></p><i></i>

the ratings were good for both the wayzata-minnetonka game and the hastings-moundsview game. <p></p><i></i>

why wouldnt the ratings be there, if they were good for football? <p>Play another sport if ya dont got what it takes to DangleMcFangle.</p><i></i>

I am no expert but there are about 400 football teams and 150 hockey teams. Interest in football ,even in the State of Hockey, is a little more widespread.<br><br>Now, I dont know if that means there arent enough viewers for a regular season hockey game to be profitable but you cant gage it from football.<br><br>I think if they could make a dollar doing it, they would. <p></p><i></i>

I think FSN should at least pick up the state tourny...then for sure the ratings would be there. <p></p><i></i>

Channel 45 has the tourney. They signed a fat, long-term deal with the MSHSL. <p></p><i></i>
