It will be very interesting to see if Greenway can finally break through and beat a good team on the road or continue its pattern of staying competitive but ultimately losing.

I am not sure they will even be competitive tonight.

That's 2 in a row for the Flyers and continues to demonstrate the 8A over 7A dominance!TTpuckster wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 8:54 pm Bagley-Fosston - 7

Re: Games Friday 1-11-19
Anyone have info on the Roseau-Greenway game beyond the final score (3-1 Rams)?
Hub is showing a 9-0 win for Orono over Hutch. Ouch.

EP 4, CEC 1 (EN). The Jacks seem to have hung around all night, and shots weren't too far apart. Don't have many other details to report, though.

Shaky week so far for the Hounds Karl, but a chance to right the ship Saturdaykarl(east) wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 9:41 pmEP 4, CEC 1 (EN). The Jacks seem to have hung around all night, and shots weren't too far apart. Don't have many other details to report, though.

Re: Games Friday 1-11-19
He should be back against EP tomorrow. While perhaps not crucial in the grand scheme of things--we all know that the guy behind the bench doesn't really care until late February, and will likely continue his endless tinkering--tomorrow is certainly a big one for the Hounds in terms of state ranking. I don't think they've played as poorly this week as the scores might suggest, though there is obvious room for improvement, too.hockey59 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 9:52 pmShaky week so far for the Hounds Karl, but a chance to right the ship Saturdaykarl(east) wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 9:41 pmEP 4, CEC 1 (EN). Re: Games Friday 1-11-19
Tremendous news regarding FHP! And yes, coming back from 1-3 in 2nd period is always nice, with Ryder getting tying goal. Should be a good test Saturday!

Re: Games Friday 1-11-19
Fairly even first period. Slight edge to Roseau. Greenway took a 1-0 lead on a bit of a clunker. After that Roseau took it to Greenway pretty good. Shots were something like 18-5 in the last two periods.
People will probably say I am a homer but Huglen should get a serious look at Mr hockey. Especially with Ryder not lighting it up. Thirty-four points, UM commit, on NHL scouting report, came back when he could have left early for USHL. And clearly the best and most important player to his team.
This kids ability to possess the puck, positioning, hands, and hockey IQ are off the charts. You can’t take the puck from him. He is the ultimate rink rat. Don’t take my word for it though get out and see him if you can. You won’t regret it.

Thanks for the game summary, 7time. Sounds like Roseau has been pretty dominant in its past few games with convincing wins over two good A teams.7TIMECHAMPS wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 10:39 pmFairly even first period. No need to worry about sounding like a homer in shilling for Huglen. He is an outstanding player who often seems to be overlooked since he isn’t the biggest or fastest guy, and plays in a remote area of the state. The only Roseau game I have seen so far this year (online) is that stinker they had against GR, but Aaron still factored into all three goals and was clearly the best player on the ice. Hopefully I will get to see more coming up.
