the rankings are fine except for one thing. moorhead at 5, they lost both goalies and half of their team, there is no way they should crack the top 10.
The curse lives on.....

oh its always a blast to watch. one problem all 3 of those teams should be shouldnt be in the same section, because they all deserve to be at state. but as long as wbl comes out on top (kow) then i dont care about the other teams.
The curse lives on.....

A typical westmetro heavy bias in AA, 4 of the top 11 teams out of 6AA? How many years do they have to get beaten like a dog (5-12 since 2000) in the State tournament before they start dropping?

Moorhead graduates 17 kids and is #5 but two other state teams Tartan and Century don't make the top 20. Albert Lea in A lost a bunch of kids off of a 5th place finish but don't get a mention, yet Virginia, Lourdes and Little Falls do?

wbl plays 11 teams in the top 20, and potential to play 14. they play wayzata first game in the schwans then either roseville or moorhead, so thats a gurantee of 13 games of teams in the top 20, thats more then half of the season. That also happend last season too and they played really well, but yet again they couldnt win the one game that mattered the most, and of course we all what know what game that was.
The curse lives on.....

The top is solid, no doubt about that.... but are you serious about some of the teams towards the bottom? WOWZA! I think their is a huge gap from the top 8 to the bottom 8.... anyway... I guess we will soon see!

-The SLinger

I am a little shocked about Wayzata and EP. Everything I have heard about them has been they are way down.

Does anyone know if Joey Miller is coming back for his senior year. I have heard both yes and no from Wayzata Parents.

pamesh. ep is slotted correctly. they might even climb higher as the season advances. they shutout breck at the burnsville stp tourney 7-0. (i know, it was months ago, but, both teams were represented by their varsity boys). j. meyers, winger, is their go-to guy on offense. he's going to have a heck of a year. so, it should stack up for a repeat meeting for the section title at the UofM.

parents i know in trojan land indicated miller will be back, sans tony lucia off course. miller wants the scoring title instead of jake at eastview.

I agree that EP is going to be solid and deserves to be ranked, but I'm not sure if they'll go higher. Jon Meyers is definitely a very good player and a sparkplug, questionable if he can be the go-to player though. If you look at his stats and play last year or in Elite, he's assist heavy - which is great - as long as there are goal scorers around you. That'll be the question. I'd love to see him have a breakout year, and hoefully he can be the go-to guy.

Benilde will need to earn a ranking and against the better AA teams.

I'd place Jefferson at #4 and move WBL & Centennial up to #2 and #3 respectively, not that it matters all that much.

Hey I think EP is definietly going to be solid. They had two schrimmages at Centennial yesterday and knocked off Centennial 4-1 and Maple Grove 3-0. Their JV also beat Centennial at home 2-0. The Eden Prairie program is strong.

LPH = inaccurate

As for me, I'll use LPH for entertainment.

The rankings on this website carry far more weight.

But it's fun to complain about.
