Major upheaval next year.
1. Andover
2. Cloquet-Esko-Carlton
3. Grand Rapids
4. Elk River
5. Duluth East
6. Marshall
7. Forest Lake
8. St. Francis
9. Cambridge-Isanti
Cloquet-Esko-Carlton to State.
Heck ya!!!!!!
If things were to shake out that way, the combination of depression, elation, and schadenfreude on the board would be off the charts. Heck, we are already on third page of this thread and the season ended less than a week ago.

For some reason that was the first word that came to mind, but I still had to double-check I was using it correctly. I figured I might get a few chuckles from that one

Yea, you should have used epicaricacy. Then we all would’ve understood it better,

It’s thesaurus day... thanks for teaching me a new big word, TT!
East at #5 would be, uh, interesting. I know there is likely to be some regression from this year, but the bottom would really have to fall out for East to find themselves in that position. And even then they would probably end up in the state tournament somehow.
East at #5 in 7AA is ridiculous. I can't wait to bring this post up when I'm driving home from Amsoil next year after watching East win ANOTHER section final.
"I've never seen a dumb-bell score a goal!" ~Gretter
So who handles loosing to Duluth East at Amsoil every year better? Antover or the Elks from Elk River? I hear Antover is building housing for move in transfers. What a boner move. Seriously....
I’m an idiot, and I really could give a blue blood. Really people. I’ve posted several times on this forum I’m an idiot. I’m not concerned.... this forum is where I vent and vomit all over the screen. If you don’t like my vomit. I’m not concerned, really. I am an idiot. I am an idiot. I am an idiot.
Welp, not sure what happened in the last month with the Brainerd thing. Anoka in, St. Francis and Cambridge to 5A. Nonetheless, no more super easy game for the 1 seed in 7AA. No more play-in game. 4 southern teams, 4 northern teams. Not sure how I'd rank the teams next year since I don't know anything about Anoka at the moment.

Anoka is in for another rough season. They graduate a lot, particularly a solid netminder, from a 6 win team. The incoming Bantams are decent, but did play at the single A level. Assuming no QRF shenanigans, the Tornadoes are pretty much a lock for one of the bottom two seeds.
