Superior will not hurt Hermantown's "recruiting" The Wisco Tourney is not nearly the same as ours. It's quite sad to see pictures actually. Superior is also not alone in D2, Northland Pines, which is from Eagle River area, was in the top 3 all year, and they are in Div. 2. They are also far smaller than the cutoff, but Northland Pines and Hayward should give superior a good run for their money. Plus, you never know what might happen, the superior kids may move across the bridge because they can play in AA instead of whatever the hell is happening down in Madison.

As a proud Superior Spartan alumni from 1977...this decision is WORSE than the sandbagging Hermantown has perpetuated the past 10 years or so Superior has won 13 State titles in WI and appeared in like 37 State Tournaments. Same number of State titles as EDINA. Fning ridiculous decision that will result in “elite” Superior players moving across the bridge for DE (ala FH Paine) and very good players...enrolling at Duluth Marshall. Nuff said
