Wisconsin has its own Hermantown in Superior
Wisconsin is going to a two class system and Superior with an enrollment of 1,291 fell into Division 2 and declined to opt up.

Do you think this’ll hurt Hermantown’s recruiting efforts?

Superior will not hurt Hermantown's "recruiting" The Wisco Tourney is not nearly the same as ours. It's quite sad to see pictures actually. Superior is also not alone in D2, Northland Pines, which is from Eagle River area, was in the top 3 all year, and they are in Div. 2. They are also far smaller than the cutoff, but Northland Pines and Hayward should give superior a good run for their money. Plus, you never know what might happen, the superior kids may move across the bridge because they can play in AA instead of whatever the hell is happening down in Madison.

As a proud Superior Spartan alumni from 1977...this decision is WORSE than the sandbagging Hermantown has perpetuated the past 10 years or sogreenwayraider wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2019 8:41 pm Wisconsin is going to a two class system and Superior with an enrollment of 1,291 fell into Division 2 and declined to opt up.
