He’s from Northern Lakes and made it and not my kid from Edina? Always a good time listening to butt hurt parents from mega programs...ThatMNHockeyGuy62 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 8:47 pm There are absolutely some on this list who should have been on teams already like Jackson Blake and Max Burkholder (when was the last time a Bantam Player of the Year had to tryout for elite league? I know YHH’s selection has nothing to do with EL team placement, but typically the top couple Bantams from the season before are auto-bids into a team).
Also a few names on this list who I obviously won’t say but absolutely have no business being there compared with some snubs from the list... assuming those snubs are not already on a roster I suppose. I understand the desire to spread the spots around geographically and to include smaller schools, but like 612 said, they should be looking for the best players regardless of age or geography. There are enough tier 1, HP, etc opportunities for the selection committee to determine whether a just above average player on a big school is better or worse than a phenom for a small school that plays poor competition during the HS season.

Between the HSEL and Tier 1, it looks like most of Rapids roster
. Good for that program, it's good to see.

Anybody know if Noah Rupprecht is transferring to Cathedral or if that is a typo? I noticed one typo already (Paul Huglen is a junior not a senior). So could be another.
How about any info on Slukynsky or Bushy? Those would be the other two notable section 8 omissions off the top of my head. Before and After or USHL?

Did we know Grant Ellings was leaving Providence for BSM? As if they needed more help.

Haven’t heard of some of these goalies! Some fresh names.
Wieneke a miss for sure IMO for Maple Grove. Solid numbers last year with a decent schedule. No Jackson Blake?
Biondi and Ludtke doing before and after with Sioux City. Biondi for sure. Hallum at that camp too I believe.

Grand Rapids is back! With 7 on the North roster. And. All are underclassman except for Goalie Clayfton. And 3 sophomores. Wasn’t delgreco Batam player of the year or something? Boy oh boy. 7AA is must see tv this year with DE, A, GR, CEC, and ER.
I sure wish A and ER played CEC during the regular season. ER never has and A took us off their schedule after Smalley’s 1 year with us. Hohum.

The goalie picks are less puzzling than last year IMO, although I agree on Wieneke.612hockeytown wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2019 1:39 pm Haven’t heard of some of these goalies! Some fresh names.

If I remember correctly from the tryout list, the new Minnetonka goalie wasn't there so he's an auto-invite? I'm sure he's probably very good, but then I'd say give him a spot in the tryout and have him earn it.
Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
I'm also going to pose the question 7TIMECHAMPS did.
See Noah Rupprecht has SCC listed as his HS team and not TRF. Anyone have insight to this?

Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
If you look on the transfer thread , our friend MinnScout has been hinting at this since April, but only finally made it public to all a couple weeks ago . 60 + points last year fir Prov. . Will be interesting being a year older how he will do in a very tough AA scheduleTheNightman wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2019 12:31 pm Did we know Grant Ellings was leaving Providence for BSM? Five from my Green Wave Team! That guy for that thing wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2019 7:11 am http://www.hselitehockey.com/news/2019-rosters

Question: Where is Warroad?

What is a Green Wave anyway?
Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
I don’t like East Grand Forks and St. Cloud Tech on team North. I’d take Virginia and Hibbing 2 best players and Greenway players instead. #forcryingoutLOUD

Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
Just like last year with Boynton and Howe , 2 of my own predicted top 5 goalies for next year are not rostered - Keopple and Hogg . Input/reasons from Pio and Hornet close followers when insights become available? . Presuming they will both put up good numbers with Blades this fall

Hey, c'mon now. EGF has a good program going and deserves the recognition as well as anybody, imho.

Still asking, where is Warroad?
By the way, why again, are EGF players on the north team?
