Heard there may have been some alternates added to select rosters...?
Anyone have insight into this?

Is Greenway looking like #2 in section 7A right now. Eveketh and Denfeld and then a hodgepodge of teams?greenwayraider wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 10:55 am Vekich and Trboyevich have been added to Great Plains.

Pb,
Who is skipping it?
D1 recruits who are doing before/after.
Why would a ‘best player’ skip it?

Not sure who you've been talking to, but this kid looked really good at the Lakeview Summer Classic. Could easily be a 1st liner and is another great addition for the Hawks. Him and the other 5 transfers, along with Biondi and Pionk definitely make Hermantown the runaway favorite in 7A.

That program is stacked. I’m a purple dude, though. You build it and they will comeJeffy95 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 8:46 amNot sure who you've been talking to, but this kid looked really good at the Lakeview Summer Classic. Grand Rapids boys appear to be very skilled.
7aa may be very interesting.
Clafton make some outstanding saves as well today.

They have 10 players in the elite league? - the most players from a single team in the entire state.muckandgrinder65 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2019 12:54 pm Grand Rapids boys appear to be very skilled.

Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
I dont know if these are up to date with the games just ended, but here are points leaders on Elite League Website for this first weekend
Luke Levendowski 9
#11 Luke Kron MPLS St. 7
#7 Nick Pierre Map South 7
#11 Jack Reimann TDS Trans 6
#15 Shane Donovan SIT Mutual 6
#20 Harrison Vandermey SIT Mutual 5
#17 Ben Murray SIT Mutual 4
#20 Blake Mesenburg TDS Trans 4
#17 Carsen Richels MPLS St. 4
#15 Charlie Strobel MPLS St. 4
A few random comments from this weekend, (I didnt see either Team North or Great Plains)
Rosemount is loaded .
Fastest man in the state this year may be Kyle Kukkonen
Team Wisc plays a tough brand of physical hockey, reminder of years gone by. No one must have told them about the reduced contact trend.
Limesand showed tough in goal. Will be integral part of BSM success .
Luke Middelstadt injured this weekend, dont know status
New addition for EP Steeves looked good. Had great one timer goal from low slot
Edina Nick Williams had beautiful goal leading the rush in from left side, showed strength to the net and patience making a move to bury the 5 hole. Giles will have to give him the green light this year, and he could potentially be one of top Hornet scorers.

Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
Will Richels and Hanson be the top 1-2 punch line in the state this season?
Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
probably some boys from Blake and BSM who would beg to differ

Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
Our good friend MinnScout and I exchanged some good info last nite at New Hope. including good debate about who breaks the most stories the earliest . I think he wins! ( and he agrees!)
As usual , he says he has a few more stories that may break before Nov 1!

Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
Is Hermantown as talented, more talented, or not as talented on paper than they were last year? Top teams in single A are really, really good this year. Grand Rapids and Hermantown will meet twice this winter. Those will be great games for sure!!

Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
Was just looking at Elite League Stats pages/Leaders and saw a pretty big change with MAP South players having added a boatload of points last night, playing against their affiliate Blue Army team (non-elite league).
MAP South Elite league team won 10-2!
I love this idea--book some non-EL teams to play and run it up! A turbo-boost to the stat driven rankings!

Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
Surprising how many D1 commits/high profile players have 2 or fewer points through 4 games.
Overheard someone in New Hope talking about how they thought that some players were being exposed or were over-rated?
Perhaps a good opportunity for the 'relatively unknowns'......

One NHL scout thinks that the talent is down this year.
Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
Could be overall , but some of early lists seem to
have Biondi and Smith going in first two rounds

It’s interesting Langenbrunner is still playing for team north.
