i dont think it matter if they make the final five or not lets face it what are they gonna do if they EVEN get to the final five??? probably nothing......but i think they could easily get to the final five in the 5 spot

Getting to the National Tourney and getting that deep into the playoffs while being picked in the preseason to finish 9th in the WCHA would be quite an accomplishment for this young hockey club. Also, getting that far into the playoffs would be a great thing for their much needed recruiting boost and it would give their younger players a lot of confidence heading into the next season and give them a great deal of experience playing against some of the top teams in the nation and playing in a life or death situation on neutral ice.

SCSU played very poorly last night against CC. SCSU had a couple of good spurts every now and then otherwise thay played very sloppy and had a lot of turnovers in their own end and in the neutral zone. They didn't put a complete game together last night and it hurt them very badly. Their gonna have to come out on fire tonight and take the second game of the series to stay in the hunt for the NCAA Tourney and winning this game would make it easier for them to get home ice in the first round of the WCHA playoffs.

and if i wanted to go your route and come up with excuses, chris chucko and danny irmen both did not skate both have shoulder seperations, peter kennedy and tom pohl who both have not played much this year had to replace

St. Cloud is simply one very good goalie and a bunch of hacks. When the season is over, they will be in their customary spot watching the real programs fight it out for the title.

Unfortunately for you, St. Cloud won't be winning when it counts most. That should give you something to cry about. Of course, St. Cloud fans are used to failing in this regard so I am sure your skin is thick enough that when it happens again this year, it won't bother you too much. St. Cloud isn't even going to get an invite to the big dance at this rate. A "hack" as in low talent. Not in terms of penalties. Good goalie. The rest of the squad is riff raff. The "hottest" team is not St. Cloud. Both Minnesota and Denver have better records than St. Cloud in the last month. St. Cloud will be in their usual spot in late March and early April. Sitting on the couch watching real teams play for the championship.

Look at CC schedule they have AA at home then they are at minnesota duluth, both are sweeps that the tigers can do......sure hope scsu can keep up

I'm a tool guys. Not to change the subject, but... Finn and Lloyd...what are you guys? Suit and tie gopher fans. Everybody I've ever talked to has said they prefer playing a game at SCSU to Mariucci. They say the atmosphere is boring in Minneapolis because of the Suit and Tie Alumni like you guys. SCSU has fun and rowdy students (I am not one, actually a student at a different college).
