Matt Carle-defensemen for the Pioneers played 1 game with his NHL club, San Jose Sharks and got a goal in the game, very impressive. Congrats, that otta boost the hobey contest. <p></p><i></i>

He did score, but there were times when he looked overmatched. Still, a goal is impressive, and I think he will be nothing short of a top-line defenseman in the league for many years to come, he is smooth on his skates and has great offensive skill. This won't have any bearing on the Hobey though, as they will not take his pro success into account. <p></p><i></i>
