Watched Cambridge play Hibbing was a 2-2 game late. Both teams took careless penalties in bad spots.

Cambridge killed theirs off and scored right after to go up 3-2. Hibbing took their bad penalty and then Cambridge scored on the PP to make it 4-2. Then Cambridge made 5-2 on the empty net.

Cambridge is a fun Class A team came out of no where this winter. They are in a very winnable Section 5A.

They have won 7 in row and Freshman Sensation Sibell is 6-0 in that stretch!

Apparently there was some sort of kerfuffle at the end of the game. I caught the tail end of it as I had turned it off and decided to switch back to catch the end.

Not a good weekend for the Hornets. Right now the game plan against them is to have any semblance of a defensive structure in the neutral zone. If you have players back, they will likely either not connect on a pass or try to skate through you. They don't seem to have the patience or grit to sustain a forecheck along the walls. What does it say about the state of things in Prior Lake that Edina made them look silly?

A few players continue to parade to the penalty box and chirp at the refs. Giles sent a message with a couple 3rd period benchings.

Yikes. It's bad right now. Hopefully this is one of those mid-season lulls that the Hornets of the early 2010's seemed to have year after year. I wonder if they'll be spending their last day of 2021 participating in an old fashioned bag skate.

Real bad senseless hit as time expired. On the back of a player a stride off the boards. 3 goals down with no time on the clock. Anyone on St. Thomas that was upset by this should be. Didn't see the game but was curious after it ended to see some and checked the archived live stream.
