Re: 2022-23 Early Departures
Good catch Brodziak , i missed the so obvious Clark name. Recently heard he has added a couple inches and few pounds of muscle . Hearing same that he should be back as Hornet
Also heard today that VanderVort may be dropping out of HSEl roster and trying to do B and A with Lincoln
( and as long as we are talking Edina , can anyone clarify Marcus Fechko status, back with Hornets?)

Re: 2022-23 Early Departures
Dad might be in for a rude awakening as this isn't how junior hockey works. Don't perform and you get shuffled down the bench, to healthy scratch, to traded or released. Junior hockey is a business, there are no promises.Total Hockey wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 12:43 pm Per his Dad's twitter account: Margarit D is leaving Holy Angels for the Philadelphia Rebels (old Johnstown team) for the NAHL.
Also per his Dad's twitter: "Margarit has played the most minutes of any HS player in Minnesota first 3 years of varsity"
"Slated to play top 4 D, PP and PK time" as well.

Correct. Should have said no guarantees. Or better yet, promises are made to be broken.

Heard from a couple different Elk River sources that Carter Davis will be doing the full season with the Lincoln Stars.

I have heard rumors of Kyle Doll leaving Lakeville North to play at Bismarck in NAHL. Not sure if true or not.

Re: 2022-23 Early Departures
If you're a parent reading this thinking
1. should I pull my kid out of HS hockey early
2. Should I do before and after in the NA or USHL
The answer is NO NO and Hell NO
Slow down....Colleges don't want your kid now until he's 20-21 years old
Dominate HS school hockey as long as you can .....and if you can't dominate, then readjust your expectations (chance are your kid has already adjusted his)
Quit blaming HS coaches, quit blaming politics, quit listening to "advisors," quit blaming a "soft" high school schedule and quit thinking your kid is "oh so special"
The elite league if far from perfect.... but it's the perfect stop gap until your kid gets done being a kid.....And if your kid is half as good as you think he is...He will have plenty of eyes on him for almost every HS elite and HS hockey game played in Minnesota
